We all have a story—
mine begins with a scribble.
You don’t need to know anything about art to connect with my work.
Each piece invites you to find beauty in life’s chaos. What starts as a messy line—confusion, struggle, or feeling lost—evolves into something meaningful.
I create for those who’ve ever felt misunderstood or unsure where they fit in. My hope is that you see a part of your own story in these shapes and lines, and remember that even the messy moments hold beauty.
You are seen.
Your story matters.
Every story deserves to be acknowledged, particularly those shaped by chaos and adversity. Having grown up in Seattle and spent decades in Portland, I find inspiration in the wild beauty of the Pacific Northwest and its dynamic communities. My art reflects both the tangled and the open spaces of life. Some pieces are intricate and busy, others are simple and still—just like the human experience.
My signature motif—the scribble—represents the confusion, stigma, and resilience intertwined with mental health. Through my artistry, I transform these chaotic lines into something beautiful, paying tribute to those who have felt misunderstood or adrift. My work celebrates the strength found in struggle and the hope that can emerge from turmoil.
Outside my studio, I have invested years in advocating for underrepresented youth by launching initiatives such as Perspect+, which bridges students from underserved schools with professional artists and designers. I have partnered with minority-owned businesses and supported initiatives for the unhoused, continually aiming to empower others through creativity.
My art has been showcased in public spaces and galleries, with commissions for The Hotel Zags (PEACE N LOVE mural), Portland Fashion Week, the Portland Light Festival, Black Food Sovereignty, Artspace Gallery in Lake Oswego, and the Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts, to name a few. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Idaho.
